Planting Seeds

Students love planting seeds and so do I. But sometimes the weather does not cooperate and it takes so long for the seeds to germinate.

I came across this neat idea on the blog The Home School Scientist that I am going to try. After you have finished planting the seeds, place them in a box and cover the top and sides with plastic wrap. It creates a greenhouse-effect to hold in moisture and heat to help the seeds to grow.
