Summer Vacations

The beginning of school is just around the corner.

Stores are having marvelous back to school sales.

Blog posts are promoting fabulous giveaways.

Kids are getting excited . . . and their parents are breathing a sigh of relief.

Summer vacations are ending and new beginnings will be starting.

My husband and I just got back from our summer vacation in Costa Rica. It was beautiful, exciting, interesting, but sometimes a bit humid for me. All in all a lovely trip.

A wonderful visit to the Poas Volcano. I loved hiking to the volcano and then around the adjoining lake.

During our river cruises we saw white face monkeys, macaws, toucans, howler monkeys, crocodiles, and much more. It was fabulous!

Yes, that's me, enjoying zip-lining through the tropical forest! At the end of the line I got to show off by swinging upside down on the Tarzan rope.

They even have dinosaurs in Cost Rica. LOL!
