Whoever You Are

I love children's books!  They speak volumes in just a few words.  Here is a book I enjoy reading and sharing with my students.  It has a wonderful message.  It's a great book to read at the beginning of the school year.  (School has been over for a week and a half and I'm already thinking about the next school year.  What's up with that?)  A good teacher never stops thinking about teaching.
Whoever You Are by Mem Fox

Here is the summary on the back cover of the book:
"Every day all over the world, children are laughing and crying, playing and learning, eating and sleeping.  They may not look the same.  They may not speak the same language.  Their lives may be quite different.  But inside, they are just like you."

EXTENDING THE READING EXPERIENCE:
Click on the blackline master below to print a FREE copy. Then make enough copies for your students.  Have your students fill in their information and share it with the class, either partner share or whole class sharing.  This is a fun "getting to know each other" activity.

Love Children's Books!
Kathy
P.S. Stay well.
