April Fools' Day

Are you looking for a funny joke to play on your students on April Fools' Day? I found this one on Pinterest and thought it was hilarious!

Tell your students that if they work really hard, quietly, and everyone does a great job you will reward them with brownies.  Show them a cookie sheet covered with tin foil. Pretend to smell it and say, "Yum, yum, so good!"

Then sometime during the day reward your students with " Brown Es."  Ha, Ha, Ha!  Pretty funny!

If you click on the picture it will take you to the original site.

Then I read the book, It's April Fools' Day!, by Steven Kroll to the class. Even though it is out of print it is available through amazon sellers. Please click on the picture to the link.

Book summary.
"On April Fools' Day, Alice gets tired of Horace's pranks and teaches him that good friends can have fun together without mean tricks."

Happy Easter and Happy April Fools' Day!
I will taking a break from my blog during spring break next week.  But then I'll be back.
Take Care,
Kathy
