I came across an egg-shaped bunny on the blog Kindergarten's 3 R's by Michaele Sommerville. It was so cute I repined it on Pinterest. Teachers loved it! But it didn't have a template or pattern to make the bunny, only directions. So to help out my teacher friends I made a template. Simply click on the picture above to get a free template and directions on how to make my bunny.
Please click below if you would like to visit Michaele's blog to see her directions and how she made her bunny. Thank you Michaele for your wonderful idea. You rock!
Enjoy!

You're welcome Kathy, and THANK YOU for creating a template! This is a favorite activity every spring, and students and parents alike love it! To increase the age range for the craft, teachers/caregivers can either have all of the pieces traced onto the appropriate colored paper so children can practice their cutting, or cut out in advance for a tracking/following steps/assembly craft. Older students love to add details like bows, ribbons, buttons, etc. when decorating their bunny, and even use this craft to accompany a written component when given a spring or Easter prompt.
ReplyDeleteHappy, er, HOPPY spring!
